Day-by-day itinerary

Day 01 Setting out from scenic Seattle

Begin your adventure in Seattle, the Emerald City. Explore Olympic Sculpture Park, browse the lively Pike Place Market, and enjoy an overnight stay before flying to Alaska.

Day 02 Nome

Fly from Seattle to Nome, Alaska, a historic Gold Rush town and gateway to the Northwest Passage. Explore its heritage before boarding your expedition ship and setting sail.

Day 03-06 Bering Sea and Beaufort Sea

Sail across the Beaufort Sea toward the Amundsen Gulf gateway to the Northwest Passage enjoy days at sea filled with discovery. Join the onboard Science and Education program to learn about Arctic wildlife, glaciology, and Inuit culture from expert Expedition Teams and Cultural Ambassadors. Watch for bowhead and grey whales, and spot walrus. Highlights include crossing the Bering Strait, the International Date Line, and the wildlife-rich Beaufort Sea.

Day 07-14 Exploration and adventure

Explore the Western Canadian Arctic over eight days, journeying through Nunavut, Northwest Territories, and Yukon, with visits to Herschel Island, Smoking Hills, Ulukhaktok, Coronation Gulf, Cambridge Bay, and Gjoa Haven— weather and ice permitting.

Day 15 Into Bellot Strait

Enter the icy realm of Antarctica and witness your first towering glaciers and majestic icebergs. Join your first shore landing with the Expedition Team.

Day 16 - 20 Into Bellot Strait

Explore the Eastern Canadian Arctic around Lancaster Sound with exciting landings and excursions to Fort Ross, Prince Leopold Island, Beechey Island, Croker Bay, Dundas Harbour, and Pond Inlet

Day 21 Crossing Baffin Bay

Sail across Baffin Bay toward Greenland, joining lectures and Citizen Science projects while learning about Arctic culture—or simply relax onboard

Day 22-24 Wonders of West Greenland

Sail into Greenland’s Disko Bay, home to whales, seals, and towering icebergs. Over three days, explore Ilulissat’s UNESCO-listed Icefjord, historic Sisimiut above the Arctic Circle, and the stunning Evighedsfjord with its misty mountains and glittering blue ice.

Day 25 Old and new in Nuuk

Sail into Greenland’s breathtaking Disko Bay, home to whales, seals, and towering icebergs. Over three days, explore Ilulissat’s UNESCO-listed Icefjord, historic Sisimiut above the Arctic Circle, and the stunning Evighedsfjord with its misty mountains and glittering blue ice.

Day 26 Cosmopolitan Reykjavík 

Enjoy breakfast before exploring Reykjavík’s blend of art, culture, and history. Stroll along Laugavegur, visit the iconic Hallgrímskirkja, or explore its galleries and museums..
